Record Speckled Trout Caught!

On February 9, Todd Spangler of Merritt, North Carolina, bested the state’s 61-year-old record for speckled trout. He landed the 12-pound, 8-ounce fish while fishing by the mouth of the Neuse River. The fish was weighed-in at Neuse River Bait & Tackle.
